MANILA - Sarah Geronimo took Twitter by storm after she staged what seemed like a solo concert on Sunday as “ASAP Natin To” finally returned to television.

Doing what she does best, Geronimo once again transformed into an all-out performer when she treated the viewers with “Misteryo, “Ikot-Ikot” and ”Kilometro.”

“Na-miss ko po kayo. Na-miss ko po ito. Every time po na ako ay nakakapag-perform sa stage na tulad nito sa ASAP, I always feel grateful and thankful kasi maliit pa lang ako, ito na po ang gusto kong gawin, ang makapagpasaya ng tao,” she said before singing “Duyan.”

“Maraming, maraming salamat to my ASAP family because I am still here and nagagawa ko pa rin ang aking passion,” she added.

Obviously missed by her supporters, Geronimo landed in the second and third spots of the trending topics on Twitter in the Philippines. “ASAP Natin To” secured the top spot.

“ASAP Natin To” is one of the shows that returned to television via the Kapamilya Channel on cable after the government ordered the shutdown of the broadcast operations of ABS-CBN.

This is the first time it held a live show since a lockdown was imposed in Metro Manila in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"ASAP Natin To" will air every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on Jeepney TV and Kapamilya Channel (Sky Cable Channel 8 on SD and Channel 167 on HD, Cable Link Channel 8, G-Sat Direct TV Channel 2, and PCTA member cable operators).
