MANILA -- OPM artists Ice Seguerra, Luke Mejares and Nina will headline a free concert dubbed "Musikalayaan" to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day dedicated to global Filipinos around the world.

The concert produced by PLDT Global Corporation will also feature stories of OFWs who served as frontliners and volunteers in their respective communities to help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

“Through this event, we want to provide global Filipinos a venue to connect and celebrate Independence Day through music and stories,” said Albert V. Villa-Real, chief commercial officer at PLDT Global. "This is also a way for us to recognize our kababayans who went the extra mile and showed the true meaning of bayanihan during this time of crisis."

The online concert will be stream on the PLDT Global Facebook Page on June 14, 2020, at 6 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time).

Filipinos from other countries can also join in at these times: United Arab Emirates at 2 p.m.; United Kingdom at 11 a.m.; and California, USA at 3 a.m.
