MANILA - Teen contestants Fatima Espiritu and Shell Tenedero gave what their coach, Lea Salonga, dubbed their best performance in a bid for a slot in the knockout rounds of "The Voice Teens."

The duo performed Angeline Quinto's version of "Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon."

"Hindi matapos 'yung palakpak ko eh. Si Shell, you started the song, nakuha mo na ako kaagad eh, na para kang nagkukwento," Sarah Geronimo said.

"Patas na patas nga eh. Nice, clean delivery, beautiful. Nice, emotional delivery as well," Bamboo added.

Salonga eventually chose Tenedero for the knockout rounds, while Espiritu was eliminated from the competition.

Hosted by Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga, "The Voice Teens" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
