Salonga feels Lamasan, who was their director in “Sana Maulit Muli,” is better equipped to explain because she saw them work together up close.

Looking back at her experience filming that movie, Salonga said it was a good environment but it was also a tough shoot.

Confessing she always finds it difficult to cry while doing scenes, Salonga said of Lamasan: “Napiga niya ako. By the time we got towards the end of the shoot, it got easier.”

“There was one scene that we did that we were able to cry one take. It was Aga’s big monologue. There’s a fire and parang we’re on this couch and he’s holding me. Minamadali na siyang pauwiin because we were up in Baguio and he had a commercial shoot the next day,” she said.
