MANILA -- Maxene Magalona surprised many of her followers on Tuesday when she finally decided to cut her long locks.

On Instagram, the actress shared her photos before and after she had her waist-length hair chopped off.

Admiring Magalona’s new look, netizens said the shoulder-length hair fits her so well, with some of them noting that she even looks younger now.

Magalona’s friends from showbiz also loved her new hairstyle.

The actress last appeared on television via the daytime series “Playhouse.” She has yet to announce her next acting project.
