MANILA -- Filipino "ReVeluvs" now have a better excuse to blast Red Velvet's songs as the South Korean girl group is set to perform in Manila next month.
Red Velvet will headline the K-Pop World Music Festival 2019, to be staged at the Mall of Asia Arena on June 9, alongside fellow SM Entertainment group NCT 127.
Since their debut in August 2014, the 5-piece act has released several albums, extended plays, and chart-topping singles that have propelled them to the upper echelons of the K-pop scene.
Perhaps most notable in the group's career, so far, was their inclusion in the lineup of elite South Korean artists that performed in the North Korean capital last April 2018.
Leader Irene has also become somewhat of a popular figure among Filipino netizens, thanks to a Facebook page that kept uploading the same dancing clip of her but set to different songs.
