Twelve aspiring male and female VJs have emerged as finalists out of almost 500 who auditioned for the MYX VJ Search 2017 finalists.

Only the best will get a chance to work with MYX's current roster of VJs, such as Robi Domingo, Sharlene San Pedro, Jairus Aquino, Ai dela Cruz, Tippy dos Santos, Alex Diaz, Sunny Kim, and Donny Pangilinan.

The successful VJs will be announced on May 27, and will immediately be a part of the MYX Squad. Before the search ends, let's meet the finalists.

Angelique Manto

Angelique Manto spent her college years representing her school at one of the biggest sports associations. Coming from the home of the Growling Tigers, she moves from the courtside to the battlefield as she strives toward achieving her life goals. She is a fan of dark pop artists such as Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson.

Dale David

A self-proclaimed “dork” who was born and raised in Europe, Dale admits that the Philippines has always been in her heart. Music plays a big role in her life, as she is a singer, guitar player, and a song composer. At 14, she became the youngest radio DJ in the Philippines. She believes that the only way to stand out is by being yourself 100% of the time.

Dan Pojas

He may be both a DC fan and a Clark Kent/Henry Cavill look-alike but Dan is not just another pretty face. This sporty Kapampangan is an admitted softie and oftentimes chills to John Mayer and the Eraserheads.

Debbie Then

Hosting is not new to Debbie. The sworn booklover is currently a radio DJ, events host, digital influencer and model who has always dreamt of being a music channel host due to her deep appreciation for music and public speaking. This multilingual beauty is armed with an extensive knowledge of music, entertainment news and specifically curated #patamaplaylists.

Fons Avila

Dancer, commercial model, and meme-crazed Fons is no stranger to reality TV competitions. He has auditioned in the past for shows such as "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" and "Pinoy Big Brother." While he did not succeed in his previous endeavors, he is now determined to work hard and prove he is worthy of joining the #MYXsquad.

JC Tevez

This teleserye fanatic is set to prove to the world that he has more to offer than just his charm and good looks. He reveals he greatly admired Coco Martin’s work in “Tayong Dalawa” as “Ramon Lecumberri.” JC is also quite the foodstagrammer. His Instagram is composed of colorful plates and wacky faces showing his energy and charm.

Kim Cruz

Kim is a dedicated Atenista taking up Information Design. Besides fashion, travel, and food, she proclaims her love for dogs. Her favorite Victoria’s Secret Angel is Dutch bombshell Doutzen Kroes.

Martin Javier

Martin is seen a lot on S+A channel, and he is not a new face in the search. He is back with confidence and never-ending passion for his dream, proving that once you fall down, you get back up again with a braver heart. The resident NCAA sports anchor is humorous, laid-back, and very outspoken about his love for alien documentaries and Lily Collins. Yet, this chill dude admits “A Walk to Remember” as the first film he ever cried over.

Mica Villanueva

Mica is a commercial model, freelance fashion stylist, visual artist, street style enthusiast and a cat fanatic. She is originally from the Philippines but was raised in the sunny Bay Area in California. On her free time, Mica loves to play tourist, take pictures and play the piano.

Michelle Naldo

Michelle is a young Atenean who is not afraid to express herself through sports and the performing arts. This best-of-both-worlds babe is a perfectionist in her endeavors such as tennis, surfing and the art of make-up. Camarines Norte is her favorite surf spot.

Nick Olaes

Nick spent 11 years in London, and now invests his time on his drive for performing arts. He may be seen acting and dancing a lot, but he reveals gardening as his secret talent.

Arturo Daza

Arturo, commonly known as Turs by his friends, is the son of chef Sandy Daza. He spent most of his childhood in Vancouver and moved to the Philippines five years ago for college. As a recent graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, he now keeps himself busy by spending his time playing basketball, guitar, or lounging at home with his pets. He plans on taking up law.
