MANILA -- After being part of hit afternoon series "Doble Kara" for a year and a half, actor Sam Milby admitted that he is not giving up on his Hollywood dream.

"We still have plans," Milby told reporters in a recent interview after the launch of his newest album "Sam: 12."

"It's more, if I have time gusto ko mag-audition. I still have my management sa LA and they still send me emails kung pwede mag-audition ka for this project. So kung may time, gusto ko even for the experience," Milby explained.

The actor said that if there's a chance, he would try to audition again next year.

"It's actually normally end of January hanggang end of April (ang casting). So noong time na 'yon -- end of January -- I was still doing 'Doble Kara.' So it wasn't the right time. So baka next year, we'll see," Milby said.

In 2015, Milby stayed in Los Angeles for "networking, meeting people, and for the classes."
