“The show started nung nakakuha ako ng text mula kay Mico del Rosario na may ipi-pitch daw sila sa akin. Akala ko for a movie but he said na it’s a show and they wanted me to be onboard with it,” Gonzaga said in a virtual press conference on Sunday.

“Sabi ko parang maganda nga yung may ganyang tayong programa para hindi naman puro depressing na mga balita ang napapanood natin. Kasi may pinagdadaanan na tayong pandemic tapos yung mapapanood pa natin puro mga nakakalungkot na balita. Parang maganda naman na let’s look at the other side na positive pa rin. May magaganda pa ring nangyayari kahit na may pinagdadaanang pagsubok ang ating bansa,” she said.

When asked who else among her colleagues she wants to see in the future episodes of “I Feel U,” she said: “Honestly wala pa akong naiisip ngayon kasi kakasimula pa lang ng program. Hindi mo pa siya talagang napag-iisipan. Siguro ako anyone na may inspiring story na masarap i-share sa mga taong nanonood.”

“Actually itong show na ito ang magtutuloy ng connection talaga, magko-connect sa mga pamilya natin all over the world na sabik na mapanood ang mga programa ng ABS-CBN, sabik na makita ang mga artista ng ABS-CBN,” she said.
