MANILA -- Several celebrities joined a dinner hosted by President Rodrigo Duterte and his partner, Honeylet Avanceña, at the Malacañang Palace Tuesday.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar told ABS-CBN News that the dinner was a “thanksgiving for artists who support the President.”

Among the artists seen at the event were Gonzaga sisters Toni and Alex, Toni's husband director Paul Soriano, Katrina Halili, Niño Muhlach, Will Devaughn, Bayani Agbayani, and "It's Showtime" hosts Vhong Navarro and Ryan Bang.

Actor John Lloyd Cruz also dined with the President and took a selfie with Andanar.

Other stars at the event were singers April Boy Regino and Jed Madela, and beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez together with her parents Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez. Action stars and Duterte supporters Philip Salvador, Robin Padilla, and Cesar Montano were also present.
