Last week, he called Julia Barretto his "queen."

And on Saturday, Joshua Garcia donned his best impression of a royal guard as he accompanied the young actress to a volleyball game.

The pair watched Game 2 of the Season 79 Finals at Araneta Coliseum between the De La Salle University Lady Spikers and the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles.

Both were cheering for the girls in blue, who in the end lost the best-of-3 series against the Lady Spikers and had to settle for 2nd place for the second year running.

In a previous interview, Barretto downplayed suggestions she and Garcia are already a couple, explaining she wants to focus on her career for now.

The two were the stars of "Vince & Kath & James," the highest grossing film in last year's Metro Manila Film Festival. They were also paired up for an episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya."
