Sandara Park has shot down rumors that she is dating television host Robi Domingo.

Speculation has been rife that the pair secretly met in South Korea early this week after a Filipino fan claimed to have spotted them.

On Saturday, the K-pop star denied to ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe that there's romance brewing between her and Domingo.

"We're just friends ni Robi, and that's it," Park said, before adding that she doesn't want the rumors to affect their friendship.

The two are known to be close friends. Back in 2015, Park took Domingo on a trip around Seoul.

When Park visited the Philippines last year, Domingo was spotted with her at a reunion party she had with other local celebrities.

Their closeness has led to dozens of rumors, more so after Domingo broke up with his longtime girlfriend, Gretchen Ho.

Park is currently in the country to promote her film, "One Step," about a woman who lost her memory after a car accident. The movie is said to be inspired by the hit American movie, "Begin Again."

"One Step" will hit local cinemas starting May 10.
