MANILA -- Despite their morning time slot, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson proved that they are still a potent draw.

On Monday, Dreamscape Entertainment's latest series "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" aired its pilot before "It's Showtime."

The pilot episode presented a brief introduction of the lead characters Bianca (Chiu), Gabriel (Anderson), and Carlos (Jake Cuenca), all aspiring triathletes.

Born to poor families, Gabriel and Bianca have to work extra harder to attain their dreams, while everything has been made ready for Carlos, whose affluent family can support his endeavors.

But while the three of them are chasing their dreams, a long history of rivalry is waiting to unfold. They didn't know that even before they were born, their parents also faced one another on the same track.

And more secrets are expected to be revealed in the next episodes.

Despite the Labor Day holiday, thousands of netizens still managed to watch the pilot episode and shared their reactions on social media.
