Amid news of Sarah Geronimo breaking down on stage during her Las Vegas concert, her legion of "Popsters" took to Twitter to express love and encouragement for the superstar Monday.

"We Love You Sarah G" became a trending topic on the micro-blogging site, within hours of media outlets reporting Geronimo's tearful speech during a segment of her "THIS I5 ME" show at Cannery Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on April 29.

A crying Geronimo, 29, opened up about "feeling empty" despite 15 successful years in showbiz and being considered the foremost pop performer in the country.

"Hindi 'yung successful na shows o 'yung mga hits ang makakapag-kumpleto sa 'yo, ang makakapagpasaya sa 'yo bilang isang tao, kundi 'yung tunay na pagmamahal na hindi nagbabago, perpekto ka man o hindi," she told the audience.

Geronimo went on to perform "Forever's Not Enough," but ultimately failed to finish the song, as she tried but failed to contain her emotions.

The raw moment of the "Kilometro" hitmaker alarmed fans, who were quick to voice out their support for Geronimo on social media. Scores of these comments, on Twitter, were accompanied with the trending hashtag, "We Love You Sarah G."

Many assured Geronimo of their unconditional love, and advised her to prioritize her well-being. Others, meanwhile, defended their idol from criticisms about the emotional episode, saying that Geronimo, like any human, can break under pressure and exhaustion.
