MANILA — Vice Ganda reached out to breakout band December Avenue on Monday with an apology after their back-to-back appearances at a concert show in Camarines Sur.

On Twitter, the ace comedian said: “I just had a show in CamSur. Super sorry sa December Avenue kasi nakanta ko sa sing-along part ng program ung kanta nila not knowing na sila ung kasunod ko. I apologize. My bad.”

Vice Ganda was referring to December Avenue’s “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw,” which he performed as part of a segment where the audience would instead sing the lyrics. He also had fans singing along to another recent OPM hit, This Band’s “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na.”

Replying to Vice Ganda’s apology, the band’s official account on Twitter said: “Keri lang mamshie! No need to apologize! We all enjoyed your set, super laugh trip. Ingat pauwi and see you soon!”
