MANILA -- Kapamilya love team Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber have signed their first-ever contract with the Kapamilya network.

On Thursday, the former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemates inked their 2-year contract with ABS-CBN.

"First time po naming mag-contract signing. Ang saya... Sobrang kabado ako na parang nasa guidance councilor kami at ipinatawag kami ng principal. Ganun 'yung kaba ko pero sobrang blessed ako dahil nga napasa na kami sa contract signing. Officially," Entrata said.

"It's not just a piece of paper. It's the next couple of years with ABS-CBN and I can say that it's a decision that wasn't necessary difficult not just for me, but for Maymay as well. Where else we will go? We are happy to be here and we are happy to be part of the family," Barber added.

The two went on to thank their fans for their unwavering support as they reached a milestone in their showbiz career.

"Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyo. Kung hindi dahil sa inyo ay wala kami kung ano ang mayroon kami ngayon. Hindi kami magkaka-contract signing kung hindi dahil sa inyo. Maraming salamat sa mainit na pagsuporta niyo. Mas pinili namin na mas galingan pa," Entrata said.

The MayWard love team are part of ABS-CBN's newest fantasy series, "Hiwaga ng Kambat."

Entrata is also part of Star Cinema's upcoming movie "Hello, Love, Goodbye" starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards.
