Why Kathryn Bernardo was a no-show at 'Magandang Buhay' celebration for Daniel Padilla

MANILA – Actress Kathryn Bernardo failed to take part of the birthday celebration of her boyfriend Daniel Padilla on “Magandang Buhay” on Friday, April 24.

In a Twitter post, Bernardo’s mother said her daughter was excited to celebrate both Padilla’s birthday and the 4th anniversary of the morning show but didn’t make it because the actress wasn’t feeling well due to a suspected allergy.

“To all the Momshies, to Magandang Buhay staff and to KathNiel fans who are excited for this guesting of Kath, we are very sorry if Kath wasn’t able to make it. Unfortunately, she is not feeling well when she woke up with puffy eyes this morning. I think this is due to an allergy," Mrs. Bernardo said. "Pasensiya na po. Babawi po kami.”

Last Monday, Jolina Magdangal, Melai Cantiveros and Padilla’s mother, Karla Estrada marked the fourth anniversary of the ABS-CBN morning show.

They also announced that Bernardo and Padilla will guest on the program on April 24.

Since Bernardo couldn't make it on Friday, her mother as well as her niece Lhexine Alcantara greeted Padilla on his birthday.
