MANILA – (UPDATE) Star Image Artist Management announced on Monday that it has decided to “take back” the name Xander Ford from internet sensation Marlou Arizala due to his unprofessionalism.

On Facebook, Star Image said it had put Arizala on indefinite suspension “due to breach of contract, violating the signed Memorandum of Agreement under Section 3 (Confidentiality and Non-disclosure), Section 4 (Exclusivity) and Section 5 (Performance and Attitude).”

This means Arizala is barred from participating in any event or engagement without his management’s consent and approval until his suspension is lifted.

“This is also to give him a lesson. But Marlou is a hopeless case. He can’t follow even a simple direction. Such a stubborn unprofessional individual,” the statement said.

As a consequence, Star Image is now in search for the next person “bearing the good qualities” of a good role model to whom they will give the moniker Xander Ford.

In the same statement, Star Image enumerated some of the controversies Arizala got embroiled in.

For instance, it confirmed that Arizala indeed yelled at ABS-CBN marshals some months back when he boastfully asked them if they do not know who he is.

His managers had to initiate damage control and immediately reprimanded him after the incident, the statement said.

It also confirmed that Arizala’s appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice” was not aired primarily because of Arizala’s "unprofessionalism" towards the production staff of the show.

The management likewise confirmed that Arizala once poked fun at Kathryn Bernardo even before his “transformation” and even bashed other ABS-CBN stars.

Arizala made headlines after undergoing weeks of cosmetic surgery in October 2017. Aside from having his nose and chin altered, he also had his teeth, eyebrows and lips fixed.
