MANILA – BB Gandanghari was not able to stop her tears as she talked about Rustom Padilla during a social media broadcast.

As reported by entertainment site PEP, Gandanghari did an Instagram Live session on Monday where some netizens asked her if she could talk about her transformation in a vlog entry.

Then Gandanghari suddenly turned emotional as she remembered everything about her “twin.”

"Naalala ko si Rustom, naiyak ako,” she said, laughing. "Paano natin gagawin? Ano ba 'yun. Hindi pa nag-uumpisa, iyak na."

While admitting she also misses Padilla, Gandanghari said she does not regret her decision to leave him behind.

"Don't get me wrong. Wala akong gusto balikan. Ang sinasabi ko lang, that guy is a good guy... Si Rustom ang nagparaya para magkaroon ako ng sariling buhay kaya ako naiiyak,” she said.

Meanwhile, Gandanghari also talked about Padilla’s former wife Carmina Villarroel, with whom he was married from 1994 to 1996. Their marriage was annulled in 2002.

When a netizen asked her if she is friends with Villarroel, she said: "I cannot say. I cannot claim. Wala kaming connection ni Carmina the way na may connection sila ni Rustom.”

Gandanghari first came out of the closet during the celebrity edition of the ABS-CBN reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" in 2006.

A decade later, she was formally recognized as a woman by a Los Angeles court.
