The first teaser trailer for 'Thor: Ragnarok' has been released on Monday (April 10) and shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) with a new look and gives a first glimpse of Cate Blanchett as Hela, the Goddess of Death.

The film is one of three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies in 2017, with “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” also being released this year.

The trailer shows the return of fellow Avenger The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and trickster god Loki (Tom Hiddleston), but noticeably absent are Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Thor's love interest, Jane (Natalie Portman), who is reported not to be returning for the third in the franchise.
