MANILA -- After her reunion movie with former husband Gabby Concepcion has been put on hold, Sharon Cuneta confirmed that she will be doing a movie for this year's Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.

In her Facebook page, Cuneta confirmed that she will be doing the movie "Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha" for director Mes de Guzman.

"Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cinemalaya 2017, for giving me and Direk Mes de Guzman the privilege and honor to be part of this year's film entries. I am beyond thrilled and feel truly blessed. I am just so honored. Direk Mes and I are so excited na! We talked earlier tonight. So happy," Cuneta wrote.

According to the Cinemalaya website, "Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha" is about a desperate woman hoping for the return of her husband and two children.

Last week, Cuneta apologized to her fans after her reunion movie with Concepcion was postponed due to scheduling conflicts. The movie was originally targeted for release this year.
