The first trailer for the sequel to the 2015 indie favorite, "Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa," has been released this Monday.

The new movie, titled "Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon," picks up five years after the original and continues the story of ex-lovers, Sam (Nicco Manalo) and Isa (Emmanuelle Vera).

As seen in the clip, it does not seem there is a happy ending for the two by the end of this one as well, even if they do reconnect.

The synopsis reads: "Five years after their break-up, ex-lovers turned friends Sam and Isa attempt to find their own selves in the realm of their respective romantic relationships."

"What they discover instead is pain and uncertainty as they come to terms with their feelings for each other and everyone around them."

Nestor Abrogena is back on board for "Tayo sa Huling Buwan ng Taon," which also features December Avenue's "Huling Sandali" as its official soundtrack. It is due to open in cinemas on May 8.
