Jewel Mische is expecting her first child with her American husband, Alister Kurzer, the former Kapamilya actress announced Monday.

Mische, 27, shared the news on Instagram with a photo of her bare tummy with the markings, "en route, ETA 6mo," to mean she is due to give birth in six months.

Apparently aware some might take the announcement as an April Fool's prank, Mische used the hashtag, #forreal. "Been the hardest secret to keep," she wrote in the caption.

Currently based in Michigan, Mische and her husband of three years, Kurzer, shared in a past interview that they met through a website where the actress saw his testimony about keeping one's virginity until marriage.

"He was very bold in saying, 'I want to stay pure for my future wife. And if you don't appreciate that then you're not my future wife.' ...I could just feel the conviction in every word that he said," Mische said in the 2016 interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda."

Kurzer explained: "As a guy, you really want to set a path you want to walk on and not step off to the left or to the right. And I really thought about my future wife and I really wanted to make her happy."

Mische, the winner of a GMA talent search in 2006, joined ABS-CBN in 2010 and went on to become a main star of several TV series, including her last onscreen project, "Paraiso," in 2013.
