He became popular because of his magic tricks, but his semifinals performance was not enough to get him a slot in the grand finals of "Pilipinas Got Talent."
Jeptah "Wow Magic" Callitong returned on Sunday for the live semifinals but failed to perform his magic trick in front of the judges.
"Mas masarap kang panoorin as ikaw, kesa doon sa magic mo.
Medyo na-bad day tayo doon," Robin Padilla added, referring to Callitong's failed magic trick.
Despite this, Callitong earned the second highest number of votes at 11.55%. However, he lost to Xtreme Dancers, after the group was chosen by the judges.
Hosted by Billy Crawford and Toni Gonzaga, "Pilipinas Got Talent" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
