Kapamilya star Piolo Pascual had no hesitation in saying he loves actress and rumored girlfriend Shaina Magdayao when asked during his interview on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Friday.

"Mahal mo ba si Shaina?" asked host Boy Abunda, to which Pascual replied: "Oo naman."

Pascual made headlines last month when he revealed that he and Magdayao have been "exclusively dating" for five years now.

Magdayao, however, was quick to downplay Pascual's confession by clarifying that they are free to date whoever they want.

In his "Tonight with Boy Abunda" interview, Pascual tried to explain their relationship. "Shaina and I have a mutual understanding na hindi namin alam kung paano ipaiintindi sa tao."

"What we have is really something special and mahirap kasi nga pareho kaming public figure and so we just decided na huwag na lang magsalita. Whatever we have is what we have. It is what it is."

Pascual made an appearance on the late night talk show to promote his upcoming movie, "Northern Lights: A Journey To Love." The Star Cinema feature will begin showing in March 29.
