MANILA – Nova Villa is one of the millions of people who are happy for Sarah Geronimo for finally deciding to marry Matteo Guidicelli, who is the love of her life.

In an interview with Push, Villa said it’s about time Geronimo experience that kind of love, especially since she’s already of age.

“Happy ako for her. I mean, ito na 'yung…matagal na siyang dalaga. It’s about time na ma-release ka na at ma-feel mo na talaga kung ano ang pag-ibig, magmahal, ‘yung ganun. Kaya I’m happy for her,” she said.

When asked for her message to the newlywed, she said: “Best wishes. Talaga naman I wish her all the best, the happiness. Go, go, go!”

It would be recalled that Geronimo played the younger Villa when they headlined the Filipino adaptation of the Korean movie “Miss Granny.”

While they did not get the chance to have a scene together, Villa said she will always be in awe of the Geronimo’s humility.

“Sa premiere night ko nga lang nakita si Sarah noon. Sabi ko, ‘Hi Ms. Sarah.’ Ako na 'yung gumanun. ‘Tita Nova,’ nag-embrace kami. Na-star struck ako sa kanya kasi ang bait niya,” she recalled.

According to Villa, she is grateful to have worked with Geronimo on such project, which surprisingly gave her a lot of recognition.

“Nagtataka talaga ako kung bakit ang dami kong nomination sa ‘Miss Granny.’ Parang hindi na natapos-tapos 'yon last year. Sunud-sunod, eh. And I’m very proud na nakasama ko ang isang Sarah sa movie,” she said.
