Director Mikhail Red ("Birdshot") started shooting the much-anticipated flick early last month and although it does not offer much when it comes to its lead stars (unlike the previous tease), the new pictures show off impressive zombie make-up work.

"Block Z," as teased by Red previously, is about a group trapped inside a university that has been quarantined due to a mysterious infection. The ragtag mix now have to navigate their way out using whatever makeshift weapons and supplies they can find.
