MANILA -- Former child actor Makisig Morales is enjoying his showbiz comeback as one of the lead stars of the ABS-CBN series "Bagani."

"Sobra-sobrang gandang comeback. Kaya noong nabanggit nga nila sa akin na magkakaroon ng ganito, [sabi nila] 'we want this para maging comeback mo,' sabi ko, 'wow, thank you.' Kasi they really searched for me. Nasa Australia ako, at para lang pabalikin [ako] dito ay napaka-heartwarming," Morales told reporters on Thursday.

Morales admitted that he was about to apply for work abroad when ABS-CBN's offer for "Bagani" came.
