MANILA – "Kuya Wes," starring Ogie Alcasid, had its red carpet premiere on Tuesday night in Quezon City.

Co-stars including Ina Raymundo, Moi Ocampo and Alex Medina were also present at the event.

Also spotted at the event were celebrity guests Darren Espanto, Karla Estrada, Noel Cabangon, Kyla, Dingdong Avanzado, Gelli de Belen, Nyoy Volante, Bing Loyzaga, Randy Santiago, Kean Cipriano, Kit Thompson, Jayda Avanzado, Tirso Cruz III, Inigo Pascual, Erik Santos, Jason Dy, Paulo Angeles, Empoy Marquez, Vhong Navarro, Pepe Herrera, Maricar Reyes, Richard Poon, Leila Alcasid, Jed Madela, John Prats, Yeng Constantino, Sam Milby, Piolo Pascual, director Joyce Bernal and Alcasid's wife Regine Velasquez were also present.

"Kuya Wes," a Cinemalaya 2018 entry, tells the story of a man who works at a remittance center and falls in love with a regular customer.
