The film festival also announced the winners in an article released Monday (Manila time).

“Untrue” tells the story of Mara (Reyes), an abused woman who seeks help from the Georgian police to help her deal with her husband Joachim (Xian Lim).

It then becomes a tale of “he said, she said” revealing the couple’s dark secrets from the past.

The suspense-thriller drama was directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who was behind 2017 blockbuster film “Kita Kita.”
