MANILA – It's been a while since fans of KC Concepcion saw her act on television or on the big screen.

While many people already miss seeing her portray a role, Concepcion said she is in no rush to make an acting comeback, explaining she is patiently waiting for the "right project."

"At the end of the day, there are so many productions. There are so many shows out there. I don't take anything for granted, but I think I've really started to change as a person. I've grown up as a woman and there are just things that I feel I've done already before," she told ABS-CBN News' Marie Lozano.

If she were to act again, Concepcion said she would like her role to be something different.

"I can't be doing the same kind of role over and over. We'll see. It's also not just the project. It's also about the scene and how people get so involved about everything. I love that, but maybe there's a right time and a right project for it," she said.

Concepcion went on to say that taking a break from acting meant having more time to do other things she is passionate about.

"If it's not making a jewelry collection, I'm building a retail site, I'm scaling KC's Closet. It's a lot of things that are not necessarily showbiz. That's a new thing for me," she said.

"That is so exciting to me, to just be able to come up with my own products and put them out there and talk about them," she said.
