MANILA — Local superstar Anne Curtis has given birth to her first child with her husband, restaurateur and vlogger Erwan Heussaff.
The couple, who got married in 2017, welcomed the baby girl in Melbourne, Australia, where the half-Filipino actress spent her childhood before joining showbiz in the Philippines.
Celebrating her 35th birthday last February 17, Curtis said she only wished for her child to be born healthy and without complications.
That appeared to come true as comedy superstar Vice Ganda, a close friend and long-time colleague of Curtis, congratulated the couple on Twitter.
The milestone marks a double celebration for Heussaff’s side of the family, as his sister, actress Solenn Heussaff, just also recently welcomed her first child with her husband, model and entrepreneur Nico Bolzico.
Curtis and Heussaff’s love story, now including becoming first-time parents, unfolded before the public eye over the past several years.
Curtis, a decade-long original mainstay of “It’s Showtime,” has said the noontime program saw many changes in her personal life, from weathering a heartbreak, getting newly attached (with Heussaff), saying “yes” to a proposal, and eventually exchanging wedding vows.
When she does finish her leave, this time Curtis will be returning to the ABS-CBN show, a mother.
