MANILA - The TNT Boys brought the house down when they performed a song from the musical “Dreamgirls” on the stage of “The World’s Best” on Thursday (Manila time).

Going up against the dance group Emotional Line for the Battle Round of the competition, the trio nailed “And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going,” earning raves from host James Corden as well as American judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul, and Faith Hill.

“I already love them. I couldn’t think I could love them any more. But my goodness, every note, pitch perfect. You boys are fabulous,” said RuPaul.

Barrymore, on the other hand, thinks the boys are the embodiment of what the show is about because “it’s an all ages party, and everyone’s invited.”

As for Hill, she admits feeling lucky to be “witnessing superstars.”

“You have the kind of confidence that allows the audience to relax and enjoy your performance. I just feel like the luckiest person in the world because I can sit here and witness this,” she said.

After the performances, the TNT Boys got a total score of 97 points from the American judges and the jurors comprising the Wall of the World, sending them to the next round.

The TNT Boys consist of Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Kiefer Sanchez.

They recently held a sold-out concert at the Araneta Coliseum and have been on a streak of international appearances, notably the American, UK, and Australian versions of “Little Big Shots.”

Their latest live appearance was on the homecoming show of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, also at the Araneta Coliseum, last Sunday.
