MANILA – The latest big screen team-up of Bela Padilla and JC Santos has grossed P80 million to date.

Viva Films announced the figure through its social media platforms on Monday, or almost three weeks since “Of Vodka, Beers, and Regrets” first hit theaters nationwide on February 5.

“Buong Pilipinas ay may hangover pa rin sa kwento nina Francis at Jane!! Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” the film outfit wrote.

Written and directed by Irene Villamor, the movie tells the story of Jane (Padilla), an actress recovering from a scandal, who meets a musician (Santos) with whom she starts a complicated relationship.

Their romance starts on a drunken night at a bar before turning serious, until Jane dismisses the relationship as “playtime” when a man from her past returns.

“Of Vodka, Beers, and Regrets” marks the third major team-up of Padilla and Santos on screen, after “100 Tula Para Kay Stella,” “The Day After Valentine’s,” and an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
