MANILA – Model-TV host Kim Jones does not mind whenever her husband, actor Jericho Rosales, is required to do intimate scenes with other actresses.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday, Rosales said Jones grew up in a country where people are not that conservative.
“First of all, Australian si Kim. Open 'yung kultura nila, hindi masyadong konserbatibo. Siyempre may values si Kim. Walang naging problema sa amin ever kasi alam niya na actor ako. Alam niya na ginagawa ko ang work ko for a reason. That’s how much she trusts me,” he said.
Rosales said the issue that he and Jones currently have is their extremely busy schedules.
“She’s the most supportive, she’s my best friend. Ang only issue now is she’s very very busy, ako din busy. Pero okay lang 'yan. Sanay na sanay kami sa isa’t isa. Walang perfect pero para sa akin, 'yung pagkakaintindihan namin sa isa’t isa, full support talaga,” he said.
Does this mean Jones and Rosales are not planning to have a baby soon?
“Wala pa. We are still praying about it. Gusto ko muna ma-enjoy niya 'yung work niya. Ako din gusto ko maging prepared for that. Kasi kapag kinasal kayo hindi pa tapos doon 'yun. Pag-aaralan niyo pa ang isa’t isa and then yung tamang timing,” he said.
Rosales said he wants to be there if ever she gets pregnant -- something that he won’t be able to do that at this time.
“I want to be there for her kapag buntis na siya, a few months before siya manganak, a few months after siya manganak. Timing is crucial talaga. Gusto ko nandoon ako. We are both not ready pa so we are praying about it,” he said.
Furthermore, Rosales said he is also catching up with his son, with whom he now has a better relationship.
“Marami pa akong pamangkin. May son din ako na kailangan din tutukan. Kahit busy ako, kailangan din ng time,” he said.
Rosales currently has his hands full with “Bridges of Love” which also stars Maja Salvador, Carmina Villarroel, Paulo Avelino and Edu Manzano.
"Bridges of Love," whose premiere date has yet to be announced, will mark the second team up of Salvador and Rosales after the successful "The Legal Wife."
