MANILA – Albie Casiño admitted he is torn between continuing his showbiz career and pursuing his education abroad.

In an interview with the entertainment site Push, Casiño acknowledged that he won’t be in the entertainment industry forever and he is just being practical if he would choose to continue his studies.

“It’s for my future also. Hindi pa ako graduate ng college. Hindi naman forever itong showbiz. Hindi naman lahat ng tao nagiging Piolo Pascual na magiging career mo talaga yung showbiz. Every day may bagong artista, so hindi mo talaga alam. Tumatanda na ako, parang pakonti nang pakonti yung opportunities, so I just have to be practical,” he explained.

Despite his apprehensions, Casiño shared that his recent Gawad Tanglaw Best Actor award for his performance in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” is something that makes him feel validated as an actor.
