Actor Diether Ocampo said he is still waiting for a copy of the Court of Appeals resolution annulling his marriage to actress Kristine Hermosa.

In an exclusive interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Ocampo admitted that up until now he has not received a copy of the resolution.

"As much as possible I want to give you a comment [but] I have no idea what's going on. But you know, I will keep everybody posted naman," Ocampo said.

He added: "Sabi ko nga sa kanila if mabigyan nila kami ng opportunity na malaman ang buong detalye, isha-share ko din sa inyo. At this point in time kasi wala din akong alam."

Since the news about their annulment came out last week, the actor said he and Hermosa have yet to talk about the matter.

He, however, maintained that both of them will remain good friends.

The two got married on Sept. 21, 2004 in Jaen, Nueva Ecija. In 2005, however, Hermosa filed the annulment case.

Despite their failed relationship, Ocampo said he never regretted marrying the actress.

"I am staying positive. You know, may mga bagay na nangyayari because may dahilan, hindi ba? [Na sa’yo na] kung paano mo tatanggapin 'yon," he said.

'Moving on'

Ocampo said it is time for both of them to move on.

For his part, Ocampo said his top priorities include his career and charity works.

The actor is the head of KIDS Foundation, an organization that helps poor children. He was also named as the new executive team adviser for Young Moro Professionals Network (YMPN).

YMPN is composed of young professional Muslims who are committed to a democratic and peaceful resolution to end the war in Mindanao.

"It's a good collaboration (KIDS and YMPN). Kasi kami we get expose to other areas na hindi pa namin nae-explore. Same with them kasi we get to share our resources with them," he said.

He is also happy that he can use his status as a celebrity to promote his cause.

"Kasi ako my network is kinda big also because of my celebrity status. Parang it's funny when I get invited to talk. Parang mas pinakikinggan nila ‘yong mga celebrity nga dahil parang sawang sawa na sila sa mga politicians," he said.

Ocampo left Manila on Wednesday to attend the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations Conference at Harvard University.

Ocampo is one of the 225 delegates who were invited to attend the conference.

Happy with new 'GF'

Aside from his work and cause-oriented groups, Ocampo is also happy these days because of rumored girlfriend Rima Lorza Ostwani.

Asked if Ostwani could replace Hermosa’s place in his heart, the actor replied: "Yes. But you know I gave my word na I will be introducing Rima to her. Sabi ko in due time."

Ocampo said he is grateful that Ostwani has accepted him, warts and all.

"Sa akin kung ano ang binibigay ng Diyos tinatanggap ko lang. Siguro mapalad din ako kasi siyempre kahit na naging magulo ‘yong istorya ng buhay ko bago ko siya nakilala, natanggap pa din niya ako," he said.

Asked if he plans to marry Ostwani, Ocampo replied: "Alam mo sa dami ng dapat  kong gawin para dito sa KIDS Foundation, lalo na gusto kong tumulong sa Mindanao, parang I would set aside that muna because that can wait.”
