MANILA – Angel Locsin paid tribute to her father on his birthday for being instrumental in becoming the person she is today.

“People say that we learn from those who have loved us the most. And I truly agree on that,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing an old photo of her dad in South Korea.

“Thank you daddy for your unending love and support as it has truly helped me to become the person that I am today,” she added.

Locsin then narrated the many things her father is to her and their family before greeting him a happy birthday.

“To our human calculator, swimming coach, fitness motivator, history reference, minimalist expert, financial advisor, expenses police, and dutiful father — happy birthday,” she said.

Locsin’s dad turned 93 on Wednesday.
