MANILA -- Jaime Navarro from Navotas City is the latest contestant to advance to the semifinals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on "It's Showtime."

On Wednesday, Navarro successfully defended his championship belt for the fifth time with his performance of the OPM classic "Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan."
