MANILA — “Make It With You,” the ABS-CBN drama series starring Liza Soberno and Enrique Gil, remained the No. 1 show in its time slot despite the premiere of a new rival.

The Star Creatives production registered a nationwide rating of 23.8% last Monday, while the pilot episode of GMA-7’s Philippine remake of “Descendants of the Sun” drew 15.9%, according to data from Kantar Media.

Kantar Media, a multinational audience measurement provider, uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population.

The viewership of “Make It With You” on February 10 ranked it as the overall third most watched TV program for the day, trailing fellow ABS-CBN programs “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (34.9%) and “TV Patrol” (29%).

“Make It With You” follows the love story of Belinda (Soberano) and Gabo (Gil), strangers who start a romance in Croatia but who become bitter business rivals as they return home to Manila.
