Like how Elsa struggled to traverse the giant waves in the opening scene of the first look at "Frozen 2," released this Wednesday, it's going to be quite difficult to make sense of the teaser trailer.

All fans know by the end of it is that Elsa, voiced by Idina Menzel, and her younger sister Anna (Kristen Bell) are on an adventure --a serious-looking one-- with their trusty friends, the snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff).

It's autumn, another thing made clear, but the where and why of their mission are obviously being withheld until the actual trailer.

There are some very interesting tidbits, however --hints that Elsa might not be the only one with elemental powers, and new characters-- and plenty of gorgeous shots such as the gang reaching a fjord.

The first "Frozen" was released back in 2013 to box-office and critical success. It won two Oscars and went on to make more than $1 billion from ticket sales around the world.

"Frozen 2" is set to be released this November.

Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the directors of the original, return for the sequel with songwriters Kristen Anderson and Robert Lopez.
