'Bliss' with Iza, Ian to compete at Osaka film fest

MANILA - "Heneral Luna" director Jerrold Tarog's latest full-length film "Bliss" will be one of the 16 films competing in the 2017 Osaka Asian Film Festival in March.

The psychological thriller stars Kapamilya stars Iza Calzado and Ian Veneracion, who are both part of the primetime drama "A Love To Last."

Aside from "Bliss," Filipino indie movies "Kita Kita" and "Tisay" are also part of the competition. The 13 other competing entries are from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, India, China and Japan.

The Osaka Film Festival will run from March 3 to 12.

Last week, a teaser of "Bliss" was posted online by Tarog.
