MANILA - An Indian exchange student charmed his way into the hearts of the "I Love OPM" judges with his performance on Sunday.

Addy Raj said he wants to try his luck in showbiz after seeing billboards of Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla.

Raj performed Padilla's version of "Hinahanap-hanap Kita."

"Definitely he needs to sing more. You have to be more comfortable with your singing voice, but you're very comfortable on stage," Martin Nievera told Raj.

Lani Misalucha, for her part, said: "Welcome at napili mong tumira dito sa Pilipinas. Alam mo naman kaming mga Filipino, we always have open arms in welcoming our visitors."

Toni Gonzaga, who admitted she got distracted with Raj's looks, said: "Pwede ka ngang mag-artista ka dito. Na-distract ako eh, na-distract ako kanina, parang hindi ko na narinig 'yung boses mo. Ang gwapo ng mukha mo, maganda 'yung katawan mo, total package talaga."

Raj will move on to the next round after getting the approval of the judges.

Hosted by Anne Curtis and comedian Eric Nicolas, "I Love OPM," which turns the spotlight on Filipinos who can sing fluent local songs, airs Saturdays after "Maalala Mo Kaya" and Sundays after "Rated K."
