MANILA – Garie Concepcion tried to distance herself when asked if her half-sister KC is already planning to tie the knot with her boyfriend, former Azkals captain Aly Borromeo.

“Hindi ko po alam, siya ang nakakaalam po nun. Mabait po si Aly,” Garie told PEP in an interview.

According to Garie, KC and Borromeo’s love for each other is genuine, something any couple would aspire to have.

“Si Aly parang he’ll always be there for you. Very supportive sila sa isa’t isa. Very genuine 'yung love nila sa isa’t isa. Nasa kanila na po 'yun [kasal],” she said.

When asked if KC opens up to her about her future plans with Borromeo, Garie said: “Ang napag-uusapan lang po namin ay 'yung plano niya sa sarili niya. Siyempre, nandun 'yung she wants to settle down, have a family of her own.”

Nonetheless, Garie said her sister doesn’t seem to be in a rush to tie the knot.

“Ang dami pang gustong gawin ni Ate. Parang hindi sya nagmamadali. Siguro kung nafi-feel nilang dalawa na puwede na…kung saan naman po masaya si Ate. Saka okay naman si Aly,” she said.

Garie also shared what keeps KC busy nowadays.

“It’s her choice to focus on UN first and her businesses. Siyempre nandun na siya sa age niya where she wants to take it slow,” she said.

Does it mean KC no longer has plans of going back to acting?

“I know she will be back also,” she said. “Iba lang po talaga 'yung focus ni Ate ngayon. Iba 'yung gusto niya ngayon. She will always be there naman. Kung merong magandang solid project, alam kong babalik at babalik si Ate.”

KC is Gabby Concepcion's daughter with Sharon Cuneta, while Garie is his daughter with Grace Ibuna.
