He is now again one win away from the semifinals. On Friday, De Castro defeated challenger Marivi Delleva with his cover of the romantic ballad "You Are My Song."

De Castro will return on the "It's Showtime" stage on Saturday and hope that history doesn't repeat itself. Back in December, he had his 4-day win streak snapped which led to him narrowly missing out on a place in the next round.
