MANILA — Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were named "Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema" by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation on Friday, following the record-breaking success of their 2019 film, "Hello, Love, Goodbye."

They will be personally given the recognition at the 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards, to be held on March 15 at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay.

Aga Muhlach, meanwhile, was named Box Office King for his lead role in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Miracle in
Cell. No. 7," while his co-star, child actress Xia Vigor, won the Box Office Queen title.
