MANILA — Actress Nathalie Hart has given birth, and on Wednesday introduced her newborn daughter with photos on Instagram.

Hart, 26, referred to Penelope as “my beautiful angel” in the post seen by her 300,000 followers. She did not say when she gave birth.

Penelope is the first child of Hart with her partner, a real estate businessman.

In June 2018, when she first revealed the pregnancy, Hart said she was planning to give birth in Sydney. Her most recent Instagram post in December, prior to Penelope’s introduction, indeed placed Hart in Australia.

Hart’s pregnancy, by her own admission, had arrived during an upswing in her career, having starred in three films in 2018 alone.

“Naisip ko, ‘Ready na ba ako?’ But I never thought, ‘Ay, magpapalaglag ako, dahil I’m going to save my career.’ No way! Hindi ko iisipin ‘yon. Mas gusto kong mawalan ako ng career, at ituloy ko na lang ‘to, kaysa naman one day, I will regret ‘yung ginawa ko,” she said at the time.
