MANILA -- Isabela's Abi Kassem is the first adult housemate to be evicted in "Pinoy Big Brother Otso."

With her eviction, fellow nominees Apey and Mark Obera and Wakim Regalado get at least another week inside the house.

Kassem received only 22.59 percent of viewers' votes.

Twenty-four-year-old Tori, who grew up in Singapore, was announced as the newest adult housemate.

It was also announced on Sunday that instead of the original eight-week stay, the first batch of adult housemates will be staying inside the "PBB" house for 88 days.

Meanwhile, due to the stress and psychological effect on Apey, "Kuya" is letting both the viewers and the housemates decide whether she and her brother, Mark, should stay as 2-in-1 housemates.

According Dr. Randy Dellosa, Apey has been deeply affected by the decision to make her and her brother a 2-in-1 housemate.

He then suggested that Mark and Apey be considered as individual housemates.

Viewers are given 88 minutes or a little over two hours to vote.

Double the fun, double the prosperity! As the Year of the Wood Snake slithers in, Chowking is turning up the excitement with a twofold celebration—ringing in the Chinese New Year while marking its monumental 40th anniversary of sharing Sarap-Saya with Filipino families.

Chowking invites everyone to the Grand Chinese New Year Chowlubong on January 29, 2025 where the celebration will be as grand as it gets! Expect electrifying performances from Darren Espanto and the crowd-favorite P-Pop boy band, BGYO—a star-studded event that promises to be nothing short of Sarap-Saya

For decades, Chowking has been at the heart of Filipino-Chinese New Year celebrations, bringing families together over irresistible dishes like the iconic Family Lauriat, the crowd-favorite Buchi. This year, Chowking levels up the celebration with a playful twist—Kung Hei Fat Chow!—a greeting that blends the spirit of abundance with the joy of sharing a Chowking meal with your loved ones.

“For 40 years, Chowking has been part of countless Filipino celebrations, and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone alongside Chinese New Year. We invite everyone to join us at our Grand Chowlubong or at any Chowking store nationwide to experience the Sarap-Saya of the season,” said Jia Du, Vice President for Marketing.
