MANILA - The father of Toni Gonzaga expressed his full support for her daughter Toni Gonzaga, who recently got engaged to director Paul Soriano.
In an interview with his younger daughter, Alex Gonzaga, which was shown on “The Buzz” Sunday, Bonoy Gonzaga said he knew that Toni will one day settle down and start her own family.
Having accepted this fact early on, Mr. Gonzaga said he is in no position to stop Toni from having a future with the man she has chosen to spend the rest of her life with.
Toni and Soriano got engaged last January 21 after being together for more than seven years.
In a separate interview on “The Buzz,” Toni thanked her father for the values which he instilled in her and Alex while they were growing up.
Thank you dahil pinaramdam mo 'yun sa amin,”she said.
Toni said she will definitely bring into her new family the values which she has learned from her parents.
