MANILA - It looks like popular local rock band Kamikazee has decided not to disband after all.
In a follow-up video to their earlier announcement, frontman Jay Contreras clarified on Thursday that the band will only be taking a hiatus starting on 2016, contrary to what many thought.
Magpapahinga lang po kami simula next year," he said.
The band earlier announced their split in a video uploaded last Sunday. The group even made it to a point to assure fans that an internal conflict was not the reason for the break up.
Kamikazee, which is best known for this such as "Narda" and "Chiksilog," is composed of Contreras, Jomal Linao and Led Tuyay on guitars, Jason "Puto" Astete on bass, and Allan "Bords" Burdeos on drums.
